Agency The Agency MINKUSIMAGES was founded by Volker Minkus in 1989. Volker Minkus trained with a renowned sports photo agency in Düsseldorf and studied 'Communication Design', specialising in photography, at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. In addition to covering the subjects 'product' and 'architecture/real estate' on demand, the main areas of our work are 'sports/recreational sports' and 'pedagogy/people'. From 2002 onwards, Volker Minkus has been the official photographer of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) thus guaranteeing visual documentation of many world championships and World Cup finals in the sports of artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, aerobics, sports acrobatics and trampoline. Our services provide you with a wide range of visual documentation of exercise, recreational sports at all levels as well as rehab. As the long-term 'personal' photographer of the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) and with our excellent contacts to regional gymnastics and sports authorities as well as our co-operation with renowned sports desks we are experienced and competent. By now our data base contains around 14.000 photographs, a part of which you can view here on our website. We are happy to respond to any special or more detailed requests you might have. On request, we will produce photo reports and image productions according to your individual wishes and ideas, for which we use up to date equipment for all areas, ie lighting/studio flash, production technique/camera systems and digital image remastering/saving of data. |
